Michael Kidd (physician)
Michael Richard Kidd AM〔''(Members of the Order of Australia )'', Queens Birthday Honours List 2009〕 (born 11 November 1959) is an Australian general practitioner. He is a past president of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP)〔''(Royal Australian College of General Practitioners )'', College History〕 and is the current president of the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA).〔''(WONCA President )'', WONCA Global Family Doctor〕
== Background ==
Kidd was educated at Belle Vue Primary School, and later Trinity Grammar School, Melbourne. In 1983, he obtained MBBS (Hons) at the University of Melbourne, a postgraduate diploma in Community Child Health at Flinders University in 1989, a Doctorate of Medicine in medical education at Monash University in 1995 he obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1989.
